City of Ferris to be featured on ‘Advancements with Ted Danson’
The city of Ferris will be a featured storyline on an upcoming episode of the award-winning television show, “Advancements with Ted Danson.”
The episode “will focus on how technology and innovation are being used to transform and empower local government and public administration,” according to the production company’s website, which notes that the series “covers a vast number of industries and economies, featuring the state-of-the-art technologies and solutions dedicated to shaping, molding, and transforming our world.”
The Ferris-focused episode looks at the city’s strategic plan and how officials have addressed challenges and opportunities while incorporating automation and AI in their efforts to “streamline processes, improve services, and ensure that resources are used efficiently,” an episode summary reads, noting that the city has eliminated its budget deficits, earned a bond rating upgrade, and has increased its fund balance, among other achievements.
