Spring/summer season to kick off Saturday at the Waxahachie Farmers Market

The Waxahachie Farmers Market starts its spring/summer season this Saturday, April 5, with the city announcing several special activities for opening day.
“We are so excited to kick off the spring/summer season this Saturday,” said Eleana Tuley, the city of Waxahachie’s downtown redevelopment and historic preservation manager. “I am looking forward to a great weekend.”
The special activities include:
• several mini-Hereford cattle on exhibit in the educational corral, courtesy of the Yellow Farmhouse and Dineen family
• live acoustic music by Khoury Moore
• a giveaway of 100 canvas bags displaying the farmers market new logo

The farmers market will increase its hours and operate from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. for the spring/summer season, which will run through Oct. 18, Tuley said.
Just under 50 vendors will be on-site offering a variety of goods ranging from food products to arts and crafts to plants and much more. Download a full list of the vendors, along with the products they offer, below.
