The Comptroller’s office is pleased to offer free educational training webinars for holders of unclaimed property.
The webinars will focus on unclaimed property reporting requirements for general business entities, local government agencies (cities and counties), financial institutions (banks and credit unions), electric and telephone cooperatives, oil and gas companies, and businesses reporting securities.
We will discuss the following topics and more:
• Unclaimed property overview.
• State requirements for reporting unclaimed property.
• Your responsibilities as a holder.
• Use of correct report types for your company.
We also will offer free training on how to use our Manual Online Reporting (MOR) system.

Businesses in Texas are statutorily required to file an annual report to the Comptroller’s office for unclaimed property. More information and resources about holder responsibilities, including reporting instructions (PDF), are available online.
