TxDOT road closure alert for I-35 at Ovilla Road on April 4

The Texas Department of Transportation will close Interstate 35E, the northbound and southbound service roads, and the Ovilla Road overpass for partial bridge demolition from 9 p.m. Friday, April 4, to noon Saturday, April 5.

According to the city of Red Oak’s Facebook page, “During this closure, traffic will be rerouted through the Ovilla Road jug handles and can re-enter I-35 at the next available on-ramp. Expect heavy delays and, if possible, avoid the area and plan an alternate route.”
