Highlights of the minutes include:

• council approval of a batch plant and outdoor storage use at 1220 Solon Road (5-0 vote)

• special use permit approved for tattoo shop use within Gentlemen’s Barber Lounge, 105 S. Grand Ave. (5-0 vote)

• special use permit approved for a digital billboard sign at 801 S. Interstate 35E (5-0 vote)

• council approval of a zoning change and planned development request for the future site of Waxahachie Creek High School, located about 0.5 miles south of 135 Park Hills Drive (5-0 vote)

• council approval of a zoning change, planned development request, and development agreement for a 75-unit senior living community at 2797 John Arden Drive (5-0 vote)

• council approval of a zoning change, planned development request, and development agreement for BJ’s Wholesale Club, to be located at 2130 N. U.S. Highway 77
