Waxahachie City Hall steel bid approved

The Waxahachie City Hall project will see a three-story building constructed next to and adjoining the two buildings shown above that are part of the complex. The new building replaces another older structure (since torn down) that city officials and consultants determined was beyond rehabilitation.

The Waxahachie City Council recently approved an $892,316 early release bid package with Turner Construction Company for steel relating to the ongoing city hall project.

Four bids were received for the work, which includes the fabrication and erection of structural steel for what will be a new three-story structure. The project comprises 77 tons of steel framing and four tons of steel joists.
